California Adventures

     Last weekend we went to L A and had a nice long weekend there. We landed Saturday night and it just so happened that a friend who Jason works with was there as well so we got to have dinner with him and his wife at a place called 5 crowns. It was good to visit with them and we had a really good dinner as well. I would highly recommend it. Then Sunday we slept in and watched conference online. It was good to hear from our prophet and leaders. Then we went and visited the Newport Beach and L A Temples.

Then we went to the beach in Santa Monica.

     Monday we went to the happiest place on Earth, Disneyland! When we were there we also got to visit with a family friend for a little bit and it was really good to see her.

We went on this ride a couple of times. The line was really long but we figured out that if we went as single riders then we could get in a separate line that was much faster. 

 This is a bad picture but if you can't tell this is C-3PO from Star Tours. 

When we were having lunch we watched a Star Wars show. Between that and Star Tours, Jas was in Star Wars heaven!

I have been to Disneyland twice and have never been to Splash Mountain but this time I did and it was awesome! If you can't tell we are in the back.

 We played this Buzz Lightyear game and had to zap the evil Zod. I won the first round the Jas won the second.

We had a lot of fun and hopefully we can go back again someday.
